Die-Cast Buckle for Connection and Decorative Hardware
The Zinc Alloy Bag Buckle is a die-cast hardware component used for connection, closure, and decoration. It is suitable for handbags, travel bags, backpacks, leather goods, and functional webbing systems.
The main body can be made from Zamak 3, Zamak 5, or an equivalent zinc alloy. Die casting provides stable dimensions and allows the product to include brand marks, three-dimensional textures, geometric outlines, and custom shapes.
Compared with ordinary stamped hardware, a die-cast buckle is more suitable for bag designs that require a complete shape, defined surface appearance, and coordinated hardware styling.
The product may be used to connect shoulder straps, secure webbing, close a bag opening, or provide a decorative element on leather goods. The final structure should be selected according to the installation position and intended load.
Width, Surface, and Load Selection
The compatible width range is 15–50 mm. Non-standard dimensions can be developed according to the bag construction, webbing width, or customer drawing.
Common surface colors include nickel, gunmetal, black, gold, rose gold, and antique brass. Available appearance effects may include bright, matte, antique, electrophoretic, or coated finishes. These options can be coordinated with zipper pulls, D-rings, rivets, snap hooks, and other bag hardware.
Edges can be polished or tumbled to reduce burrs and create smoother contact areas. This helps limit scratching and wear when the buckle touches leather, webbing, or fabric.
Depending on the product structure and specification, the reference static tensile load is 300–1,200 N. The reference salt spray time is 24–96 hours and may be adjusted according to the required surface treatment.
These figures are reference ranges rather than universal performance values. Actual requirements should be confirmed according to the buckle structure, dimensions, material, installation method, and surface finish.

Engineering Review for Load-Bearing Applications
Zhejiang Tongtai Lock Industry and its predecessor have more than 20 years of experience in luggage locks and related hardware. The company's predecessor was established in 2000.
The factory has an approximately 6,000-square-meter production site, an independent research and development team, and a workflow covering component processing, assembly, inspection, packaging, warehousing, and shipment.
For a Zinc Alloy Bag Buckle used in a load-bearing position, the team reviews the buckle wall thickness, connecting-pin dimensions, webbing width, and installation method.
For light-colored leather or fabric, testing for color transfer and surface migration is recommended before volume production. This helps buyers evaluate whether the selected surface treatment may affect the material around the buckle.
The factory can support standard-product selection, drawing-based manufacturing, structural adjustments, brand marking, and packaging customization.
Sampling, Inspection, and Volume Production
Quality control begins with a dimensional inspection after material forming. Surface-treated items are checked for appearance after returning to the factory. Process inspections are performed during production, and finished products receive individual inspection and a final sampling check before packaging.
Samples can be supplied before volume production. Regular samples do not require a sample fee, while transportation costs are paid by the buyer. Laser-logo or dimensional adjustments to an existing specification normally take approximately 2–3 days. Development time for a new product depends on structural complexity.
Regular products have no fixed minimum order quantity requirement. Custom packaging normally requires 1,000–2,000 pieces. Different colors or models may be mixed in one order when production arrangements allow.
For approximately 10,000 standard pieces, the normal lead time is around 25 days. Customized orders above 5,000 pieces normally require 30–35 days when mold-making time is not included.
The Zinc Alloy Bag Buckle is packed in inner boxes and outer export cartons. Stretch film can be added for pallet transport, and progress photos can be supplied at key production stages.
